If you have a Thousand Trails membership, you’ll love this stop in Port Orange. Encore Rose Bay is a peaceful residential setting away from the tourist hustle and bustle on the beach. Not to worry, you’re still close enough to make spending the days on Daytona’s sandy beaches a reality. It’s the best of both worlds! This is a spacious RV park with 300 RV sites including space for Class A motorhomes and full hookups with both 30 and 50 amp. There are also plenty of amenities for you to enjoy, including a club house and game room that offers bingo, arts and crafts, and cards as well as outdoor shuffleboard and swimming facilities. Encore Bulow RV Resort is situated on Bulow Creek and has more than 200 spacious RV sites, accommodating both small campers and large coaches. This park provides full hookups as well as a picnic table and fire ring for outdoor cooking and relaxation. If you want friends or family to join you at the RV park, they can rent a cabin, cottage or park model. While you’re there, take a dip in the pool, play a game of shuffleboard or get competitive on the pickleball or volleyball courts. The playground is popular with the little ones and older kids will enjoy the game room stocked with board games, video games and other activities. Bonus: it’s also a Thousand Trails park!

Another gem in Flagler Beach is Beverly Beach Camptown RV Resort. It’s one of the few oceanfront Daytona Beach RV parks! This property stretches across 1500 feet of shoreline and waterfront RV sites are situated along a seawall on the beach. You can bring your pets here as well, and there is a convenience store on site. The oceanfront sites are truly incredible here – but book early because they get reserved quickly! Especially during popular events like the NASCAR races, Bike Week and 4th of July. It’s actually located about halfway between Daytona and St. Augustine, so you can visit both while you’re there!

Crescent Fish Camp is a bit further inland than some of the other parks, so plan for about an hour-long drive to get to Daytona Beach. Close enough for day trips! If you’re into fishing and boating, this RV resort that’s located in the “Bass Capital of the World” will be well worth the drive. Situated on the shores of Crescent Lake, it’s considered a premier fishing destination and has everything you need for an incredible fishing trip. They have a boat ramp, fishing pier, marine fuel station and boat slips in addition to kayak rentals. Don’t have your own fishing gear? No problem – they offer professional fishing guides and charters.

South of Daytona and Port Orange, you’ll find New Smyrna Beach. That’s where our next contender on the list is located: Sugar Mill Ruins RV Park. This family-owned RV park is tucked away in a wooded area that used to be the site of an old sugar mill. It’s a tranquil setting surrounded by scenic waterways and lush greenery, which means you get to enjoy Florida’s fauna AND its beaches when you stay here. They have 200 different RV sites and each one is different from the others. They have free WiFi, picnic tables and fire pits for campers, as well as a playground and game room with pool tables. The highlight just might be the Florida-shaped pool and the accompanying tiki bar that serves drinks and ice cream.
